PYP has received a special invite from the Regional Internship Center and Propel Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has recently crowned itself the City of Champions for the first time since the 1970’s!

Are you interested in championing the City of Pittsburgh in local government? Do you want to make a difference in moving the city forward, in terms of advancing causes important to young professionals? The Propel Pittsburgh Commission is a 35 member body of young professionals ages 20-34 chaired by Mayor Ravenstahl, whose objective is to increase participation in government. If you have ever wanted to have more of a ‘voice’ in your government, now is the time to make yourself heard. Join Pittsburgh Young Professionals and Coro Pittsburgh’s Regional Internship Center (RIC) for an evening with Propel Pittsburgh. This year's RIC Summer Program has over 200 interns representing 27 regional companies and 85 colleges and universities internationally. The Summer Program is a series of social, cultural and professional events throughout June & July that showcases Pittsburgh to interns who are in the city for the summer.

The evening will kick off at 5:30 with a keynote address by Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, followed by a panel discussion from members of the Propel Pittsburgh Commission. Refreshments included.
